The exclusive invite-only business network, Innovation Bay held its December dinner in Sydney last evening. Our guest speaker was Tony Faure, CEO at NineMSN since August, serial entrepreneur and former head of Yahoo in Australia.
While we don’t disclose details of what’s discussed in these closed door sessions, I can say that the topic was Doing Deals Online and Tony covered the gamut of forming partnerships and joint ventures.
He gave some fascinating insights, including one maxim – never do a partnership deal where you feel you the other side is being totally screwed.
The key take out for me — trust your gut instinct, when things don’t feel right find out why — your instinct isn’t sending messages to your brain for no reason.
