Yahoo is in the process of acquiring three companies at present: -
- Bix, an online contest company
- MyBlogLog, a blog analytics tool developer and
- Kenet Works, a mobile content company.
Techcrunch rightly classifies these as social media acquisitions. Perhaps Yahoo is finally getting its mojo back.
